I’ve seen on Reddit how AC fans saying that a Wild West setting would be disastrous and destroy the franchise. That’s just a load of malarkey built on empty platitudes. If executed and done correctly by the publisher and developer, it will turn out good. I’ve been wanting an AC Wild West for a while now. It should be a open world and semi-RPG like AC Origins and it should feature the same features, gameplay, mechanics and physics as Origins. For the setting. It should be set between the 1870s and 1880s in New Mexico, using a huge map that goes from Santa Fe in the north to El Paso in western Texas with Ciudad Juarez and parts of northern Mexico included. I prefer New Mexico because it features different landscape and nature like sandy deserts, green forests and cool rocky formed canyons like Tent Rocks.

Imo the song was never about the assassins and should have never been considered their theme. The song was a representation of Ezio's internal values and struggles. Everytime the song played in the ezio trilogy,it felt like ezio asking himself why he fights. The song is his answer, not in words but in feeling.

IMO the Bonfire of the vanities dlc in 2 was terrible, it totally ruined the pacing of the game, AND added another 6 hours into my playthrough, plus its ultimately usesless to the story

Love that the Merchants sell 10k supplies. And its ALL FREE. so make sure u go to each little settlement that has a merchant and buy it. Also, if you're like me and forgot the feast bell at the settlement. Ive never used it but they say it boost morale and armor n health for a bit of time.

This is my last AC game, as a Scandinavian guy they really pissed me off with having a female protagonist, and though some guys like playing from the female perspective we are also the main audience for AC games. I love Japanese history, and even though I would love playing Yasuke as he's an interesting character I'll pass, f Ubisoft, never again will I buy their games.

I would love to see more evidence of Connor after the games. Basically at the end of AC3 he's the only really active member of the order in America, so he'd have to play a role like Ezio and build out the order and the network in the new world.

I remember a scene in Mirage where Basim goes to the assistant of a scholar who asks him what books him and his friend Nehal used to read in childhood after sneaking into libraries to which he says he used to read stories of culture and his friend Nehal was more into Pagan culture. I can accept the game style changing. I can accept us playing as a non assassins if their story connects (Edward / BF style) I can accept the crazy fantasy elements.. what I can’t accept and it really breaks my heart is how they have dropped so many story lines. Assassins / Templars situations past and modern day are not at the focus anymore! Origins was the perfect playground to go into the Isu lore. I’m not even going to go into Odyssey (your comments were perfect)… Valhalla could have done a similar story to Edward, no we aren’t playing as an assassins but we learn more about their way and hunt down Templars who are actually main characters, Instead the majority of them are completely random and meaningless! I’m glad Valhalla did get back into some of the Isu lore but what I found odd after finishing the dream sequences is why did Layla, Rebecca nor Shawn not mention anything?! Especially R&S with their experience with the Isu, they used to have so much input. Saying nothing made it feel like the discoveries weren’t as important as it was in past games. I don’t need to go into detail how ridiculous it is that Desmonds son is not in the games. I used to love how deep and at times, dark these games got. I miss the conspiracies. I miss the full detailed database. I miss the importance of finding information to help the present through history. When I say I miss the old AC games this is what I mean. Whew rant done for now 😂

Wow, thank you for your work. I didn't start playing AC until Origins. I just blindly accepted that I didn't know the previous history of the franchise. Seeing the mixed reviews between the new and old games made me want to know what I had missed. I've seen other "full timeline" videos and none of them were as clear and comprehensive as yours.

I think it's nice that they started doing the ezio's family versions where it's slightly remixed in the other games. Since in my opinion ACII is the reason the franchise took off and AC brotherhood is why the face of AC is ezio. So it does get used a lot but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

We need a ac full altair life game

The whole "Lucy Stillman being a Templar" plotline never made sense in a way that was organic and complimentary to the writing and screenplay of AC1-AC Brotherhood. The only reason Lucy was killed off was because the actress, Kristen Bell, wanted more royalty payments for her role as Lucy, but Patrice Dessilet didn't want to pay her and in spite, killed off her character and made her a Templar.

ya, there where so many hints that nehal was not real, starting someone (i forget who) saying that basim was wanted for killing the caliphate and then also nobody ever mentions nehal's presence and whenever basim interacts or meets her she is never acknowledged. I like how they give you another nudge she is not really there when basim asks about her during the ambush towards the end and we clearly saw she was knocked out but then we are told nobody was there which just confirmed it for me. the Jinni part kinda went over my head since i did not play valhalla and must have missed some other things since i also didn't play odyssey. All the same, AC franchise has a lot of story to explain as they have been super cryptic in past games with the ones who came before and the whole thing going on with that. Just feels like they expect to release 100 games till we know what is going on and with the way things are, it's hard to digest with the games not catering to the people who loved the first games and the direction change they made causing some including myself not to play those games.

Black flag is Definitely underrated in my opinion

Resident evil 2 solved this problem for Ubisoft. Two different characters, two different stories happening at the same time that crossover with each other.
